Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Manager of Operational Excellence Programs in the United Kingdom. This hybrid role requires you to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office and lead a global team driving strategic improvements across the organization.

You will define the OE strategy, govern programs, and provide executive reporting, while coaching leaders and advancing change management across functions. PMP certification and 10+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required).
• Master's degree desirable.
• PMP certification required.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Operations, Quality, and/or Business Transformation.
• Minimum 3+ years of people management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading global teams in a matrixed environment.
• Experience managing large-scale cross-functional programs and portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Operational Excellence vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Lead and develop a global team delivering strategic improvement initiatives.
• Lead executive steering committees, governance reviews, and planning discussions.
• Develop executive-level reporting on portfolio status, risks, and outcomes.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and career growth for team members.
• Establish governance frameworks, metrics, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Partner with executives to identify, prioritize, and sponsor opportunities.
• Oversee lessons learned, corrective actions, and prevention activities.
• Ensure initiatives are implemented, measured, and sustained over time.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and business value realization.
