Job summary

Mother Tongue in London, SE1 is seeking a Localization Account Manager on a 6-Month FTC to manage client relationships and support language/content projects, including transcreation, translation, voiceovers, subtitling and more.

You will map client needs to in-market workflows, coordinate across teams, quote projects, brief talent, and ensure on-time delivery while seeking growth opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifications

• University-level education.
• Fluency in English and at least one other language.
• Excellent communication skills (phone/VC and writing).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
• Familiarity with modern office software.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
• Experience with CAT tools/TMS systems.
• Interest in technology.
• Informed perspective on the future direction of the industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients and support execution of language/content projects (transcreation, translation, content origination, voiceovers, subtitling, production).
• Map client needs and develop bespoke solutions; coordinate full lifecycle of projects from quoting to on-time delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers globally; identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and ways of working.
