Job summary
En Route International in Windsor, Berkshire, is seeking a Logistics Co-ordinator to lead international shipments (sea primarily, with some air freight) from GB to the Middle East, the US, Australia and Asia. You will liaise with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery and high-quality service.
The role requires hands-on freight forwarding experience, Incoterms knowledge, strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in freight forwarding or international logistics with sea and some air freight.
- Strong understanding of Incoterms, transport flows, and international shipping processes.
- Hands-on, ownership mindset with problem-solving skills for shipments.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (Business Central/Navision/SAP).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate international shipments (sea and air) with freight forwarders and carriers.
- Book shipments, schedule deliveries, and prepare shipping documents.
- Monitor container movements and resolve delays or issues.
- Track and report logistics performance metrics.
- Maintain records of logistics transactions.
