Marsh Global Events in London is seeking an ambitious Event Coordinator to manage and produce internal and external events from conception to completion. The role is hybrid, based in London, and requires at least three days in the office weekly.

You will lead planning, venue selection, vendor coordination, and on-site execution, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and the global design team to ensure flawless event delivery and client service.

Qualifications

• Several years of end-to-end event management experience.
• Experience with Cvent or other events software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willing to travel to various locations for site visits and on-site management.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and extended hours during event seasons.
• Experience with meeting management software such as Cvent is crucial.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning of meetings and events with internal stakeholders.
• Scout venues, conduct site inspections and negotiate contracts.
• Research and vet vendors including caterers, florists, and entertainment.
• Coordinate production with design and print shops.
• Oversee registration websites, invitations, and on-site support.
• Develop and manage event budgets; reconcile post-event costs.
• Deliver end-to-end event services: AV, catering, decor, room setups.
