Green & Wolvin Recruitment is assisting a Nottingham-based client to recruit a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator for the Procurement & Supply Chain team. The role offers hybrid working and exposure to international sourcing, supplier management and commodity purchasing.

You will join a growing business with an annual turnover of about £175 million, coordinating import/export, incoterms, ERP data, and cross-functional logistics with finance and quality teams.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years experience in supply chain, operations, logistics or buying in commodities or food industries.
• Experience pricing and planning air, ocean or road freight within freight forwarding or supply chain.
• Knowledge of food ingredients and commodity categories is advantageous.
• Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, speed and service.
• Commutable to Nottinghamshire on a hybrid basis.
• Knowledge of INCOTerms is advantageous.
• Degree or professional qualification in Supply Chain Management (CIPS) would be advantageous but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Support sourcing and logistics of raw commodities from international suppliers.
• Plan and oversee export/import shipments with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and supplier opportunities.
• Assist with supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management.
• Coordinate import/export shipping docs and customs compliance with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain purchase orders and supplier data in ERP.
• Monitor commodity prices and exchange rates to support sourcing decisions.
• Assist senior buyers in procurement strategies for commodity categories.
• Ensure ethical sourcing and sustainability standards.
