Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to support purchasing, supply chain and logistics activities in a fast-paced technical environment located in Tyne & Wear. Qualifications

• Previous experience within Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Experience coordinating deliveries and freight movements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, equipment and services.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations and raise purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
