Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd is hiring a Functional Specialist in the Lincoln area. The role involves managing end-to-end PIP assessment caseloads, delivering both in-person and virtual evaluations, plus telephone assessments and written reports.

A multidisciplinary background (nurse, OT, physio, or paramedic) is required, with NMC/HCPC registration and strong IT skills. The position offers hybrid working, a starting salary of £39,500 with bonus potential, and progression to £40,500 after DWP

Qualifications

• Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads end to end including face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper-based reports (PBR).
• Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.
• Ensure breaks, CPD, audit amendments, reviewing further evidence and team meetings are built into the rota.
