Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd invites applications for a Functional Specialist to work with a multinational employer on a hybrid, full-time basis. The role focuses on unbiased assessments for the Government’s disability allowance (PIP) and requires qualified nurses or allied health professionals.

You will handle end-to-end caseloads, using face-to-face, virtual and telephone assessments, with time allocated for CPD and evidence review. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified healthcare professional in nursing or therapy discipline.
• Active registration with NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Clear communication and IT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end caseloads including assessments (face-to-face/virtual) and reports.
• Autonomy to manage cases to conclusion with professional judgment.
• Assess range of health conditions and disabilities for PIP claims.
• Allocate time for breaks, CPD, evidence review and team meetings.
