Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Functional Specialist to join a leading multinational employer on a hybrid, full-time basis in the UK. The role involves unbiased assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) and includes face-to-face and virtual assessments as well as paper-based reports.

You'll manage caseloads end-to-end with autonomy, assess a broad range of impairments, and allocate time for CPD and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and IT literacy are required.
• 1+ years post-qualification clinical experience is expected.
• Registration with NMC or HCPC without restrictions is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads from end to end, delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper reports.
• Operate with autonomy to progress cases to conclusion with broader job variety.
• Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.
• Include time for CPD, audit amendments, evidence review and team meetings within the rota.
