Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting for a Functional Specialist to work hybrid, delivering independent assessments for PIP. This role suits nurses, therapists or paramedics with clinical knowledge seeking a new challenge within a multinational employer.

You will assess various health conditions, manage end-to-end caseloads, and benefit from scheduled training, generous holidays, pension and wellbeing resources in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
• 1+ years post qualification experience.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads end to end, delivering face-to-face, virtual and telephone assessments.
• Autonomously handle case management to conclusion with routine reviews.
• Assess a wide range of health conditions and disabilities in claimants.
• Include CPD, evidence review and team meeting time built into rota.
