Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Hybrid, Full-time Functional Specialist to provide unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while delivering a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service to claimants.

You will manage end-to-end caseloads with face-to-face, virtual and telephone assessments, plus initial review calls and paper-based reports, supported by a starting salary of £39,500 with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP).
• Manage end-to-end caseloads including face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, and paper-based reports (PBR).
• Provide time for breaks, CPD, audits, and review of further evidence and team meetings.
