Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Functional Specialist role across Nursing, Allied Health Professions and Paramedics for hybrid working arrangements in the UK. The role will involve unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while delivering a personalised and empathetic service.

Starting salary £39,500 with potential to rise to £40,500 on DWP approval, plus a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• 1+ years post qualification experience.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads from end to end including delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper-based reports.
• Autonomy to manage cases to conclusion with greater variety in duties.
• Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant.
• Time built into the rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments and team meetings.
