Job summary

Invitise is seeking a Frontend Developer for a central government department in Exeter. This hybrid contract role is 6 months, paying up to £600 per day Inside IR35 (Umbrella).

You will build responsive, accessible frontends using React, Next.js and TypeScript, consume internal REST APIs, and contribute across the full development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing and CI/CD. The role may involve Azure and AWS cloud environments and collaboration with design and product teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Experience consuming internal or RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Cloud deployment experience (Azure and/or AWS).
• Holder of or eligible for SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces for government systems.
• Work across the full development lifecycle with design and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging to maintain quality.
• Maintain existing applications, troubleshoot issues and streamline deployment.
