Invitise is seeking a Frontend Developer for a central government department in Exeter. This hybrid contract role is 6 months, paying up to £600 per day Inside IR35 (Umbrella).
You will build responsive, accessible frontends using React, Next.js and TypeScript, consume internal REST APIs, and contribute across the full development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing and CI/CD. The role may involve Azure and AWS cloud environments and collaboration with design and product teams.
We're looking for a Frontend Developer for a central government department based in Exeter (hybrid) on an initial 6-month contract, paying up to 600 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella).
This is a hybrid role with some attendance expected (1-2 days per week) at the office in Exeter.
The successful Frontend Developer will build responsive, accessible user interfaces backed by internally developed APIs and search indexes in a mixed Azure and AWS environment. You'll work across the full development lifecycle alongside design and product teams, and take part in code reviews, testing and debugging to keep quality high. You'll also maintain existing applications, troubleshoot issues and help streamline deployment through CI/CD and automated testing.
You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
