Job summary

The Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own software delivery projects for clients in the financial services sector in Greater London. You will lead complex implementations, coordinate technical teams, manage budgets, and ensure delivery on time and within scope.

You will work closely with clients and internal teams, balance competing demands, and drive continuous improvement to delivery processes. Hybrid working is available, with office days as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing complex software or technology projects.
• Experience delivering software implementations, upgrades or product enhancements.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycles and release management.
• Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Commercial awareness including project budgets, forecasting and contractual deliverables.
• Strong client management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage challenging situations and confidently influence stakeholders.
• Background within a technology provider or software-led environment would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex software implementation and technology projects.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate software development and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Manage project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring challenges are addressed proactively.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting and commercial commitments.
• Drive continuous improvements across project delivery.
