Carwow Group is seeking a Transactional Financial Controller to lead Accounts Payable, Billing and Credit control across the group from our London base. You will also drive automation and efficiency of finance systems and partner with the Finance Transformation team.

In this hybrid role, you will manage teams in London and Porto, optimise working capital, improve DSO/AR processes, and ensure strong financial controls while supporting wider business growth.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong grounding in financial controls and reporting.
• Experience leading AP, Billing and Credit control functions.
• Experience in NetSuite and related finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Full management of Accounts Payable, Billing and Credit control functions with team leadership.
• Oversight of all banking and expense transactions, ensuring accuracy and controls.
• Own working capital management including planning and execution of payment runs.
• Implement and manage the PO system end-to-end across the business.
• Escalation point for AP, Billing and Credit control queries.
• Drive DSO performance improvement and cash collection targets.
• Review AR ledgers and escalate aged debt per policy.
• Line-manage reports in London and Porto, overseeing activities across the UK, Portugal, Germany and Spain.
• Partner with the Director of Financial Control on reporting, audit requirements and governance.
