Job summary

The Dudley is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day financial operations across the organisation, ensuring accurate, timely processing and strong controls. The role offers hybrid work between home and our Brierley Hill office and scope to influence systems and workflows.

You will manage a small team of three, drive process improvements, support audits, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver reliable financial information and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial operations and transactional finance.
• Experience supervising a small team.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Good problem-solving and stakeholder management.
• Experience with internal controls and governance.
• Knowledge of banking processes including BACS, direct debit, card receipts.
• Financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations and month-end liquidity processes.
• Lead and develop a team of three finance staff.
• Drive process improvements and standardise workflows.
• Ensure robust financial controls and audit readiness.
• Support internal stakeholders on change projects affecting Finance Operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and financial regulations.
