Job summary

JHE & Partners in Skipton is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to influence financial strategy in a growing business with a market-leading reputation.

The role requires professional accounting qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and advanced Excel skills; you will lead a small team, handle month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and year-end activities, while driving process improvements

Qualifications

CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification required.
Advanced Excel skills: XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables.
Strong desire to improve systems and processes.
Excellent communication with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts pack, working closely with the FC
Balance sheet, P&L, cashflow and variance analysis against budget
Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Managing two members of the finance team overseeing AP, banking etc.
Assist with year end reporting, external audit etc.
Improve financial controls, whilst identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
Be involved in a variety of projects across the business
