Job summary

Marmion Ltd in Harrogate is seeking a Finance Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations and provide commercial analysis to support growth.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage accounts, budgets, forecasts and cashflow, balance compliance with regulations, and partner with senior leaders to drive strategic decisions in a growing SME environment. Hybrid working arrangements are available to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience as Finance Manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience with SME scaling and growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Monitor financial performance and provide commercial analysis to inform decisions.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger functions.
• Support acquisitions, projects and strategic developments where required.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with external audits and year-end accounting activities.
• Provide financial reporting and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve financial controls, processes and procedures.
