Job summary

Connected Search Group in Sheffield seeks a part-time Finance Manager to support day-to-day finance operations and reporting. You will work closely with the Head of Finance across budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis in a professional setting.

The ideal candidate will be part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), with strong Excel and NetSuite experience, and a collaborative mindset. Hybrid working with 60% office presence is offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong technical finance experience.
• Experience in financial reporting and controls.
• Experience in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting external audit.
• Good knowledge of VAT, PAYE and payroll accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts with analysis and commentary.
• Lead month-end close with accurate timely completion.
• Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with budget owners.
• Produce high-quality financial analysis for senior management and committees.
• Coordinate reporting and analysis of investment management costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality and processes.
• Line manage and develop finance team members.
