Job summary

JHE & Partners in Skipton is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to influence financial strategy in a growing business with a market-leading reputation.

The role requires professional accounting qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and advanced Excel skills; you will lead a small team, handle month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and year-end activities, while driving process improvements

Qualifications

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification required.
• Advanced Excel skills: XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables.
• Strong desire to improve systems and processes.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack, working closely with the FC
• Balance sheet, P&L, cashflow and variance analysis against budget
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Managing two members of the finance team overseeing AP, banking etc.
• Assist with year end reporting, external audit etc.
• Improve financial controls, whilst identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Be involved in a variety of projects across the business
