Job summary

JHE & Partners in Skipton is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance team on a full-time basis, with hybrid working available. The role reports to the Financial Controller and oversees monthly management accounts, balance sheet, P&L, cashflow and budgeting processes.

You will manage two finance staff, contribute to year-end reporting and audits, and drive improvements to controls and processes while participating in various projects across the business.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUPS, SUMIFS and Pivot Tables).
• A desire to improve systems and processes.
• The ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts pack with FC.
• Analyse balance sheet, P&L, cashflow and variances vs budget.
• Assist with annual budgets and forecasts.
• Manage two finance staff overseeing AP, banking, etc.

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a genuinely exciting business based in Skipton as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis (hybrid available).

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the finance team with key responsibilities including:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack, working closely with the FC
• Balance sheet, P&L, cashflow and variance analysis against budget
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Managing two members of the finance team overseeing AP, banking etc.
• Assist with year end reporting, external audit etc.
• Improve financial controls, whilst identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Be involved in a variety of projects across the business

About you
