Job summary

StormX Recruitment is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to support day-to-day finance across the business and its customers. The role reports to the Finance Manager and works with another Finance Assistant in a hybrid setup, including 1 day per week in St Albans town centre.

You should have experience in transactional finance and bookkeeping, be highly organized, and proficient with Excel and financial systems. The package includes pro rata salary and parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role.
• Good knowledge of transactional finance and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices.
• Managing supplier accounts and resolving queries.
• Bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping.
• Supporting payment runs and cash management.
• Assisting with credit control and debtor management.
• Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets.
• Processing and monitoring property-related costs and expenditure.
• Assisting with accounting and administration of property management transactions.
• Collaborating with the Finance Manager and wider finance team.
