Job summary

Park Avenue Recruitment is supporting a Greater Manchester local authority to recruit a Facilities Compliance Officer on a six-month contract. The role centers on statutory building compliance, site audits, and documentation across a varied corporate estate.

The ideal candidate has property/estates compliance experience, knowledge of fire safety, electrical safety, water hygiene and asbestos, and CAFM familiarity (MRI Evolution or Planon). Hybrid working: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Experience in Property Compliance, Facilities Compliance, Estates Compliance or Hard FM.
• Strong knowledge of statutory building compliance (fire safety, electrical safety, water hygiene, asbestos).
• Experience reviewing compliance reports, audits and monitoring remedial actions.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems such as MRI Evolution or Planon.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site compliance audits and inspections across the corporate estate.
• Review statutory compliance documentation (FRAs, EICRs, Legionella, asbestos).
• Maintain accurate compliance registers, certification records and action trackers.
• Monitor outstanding remedial works and liaise with contractors to close actions.
• Support PPM programmes and routine compliance monitoring.
• Assist with contractor oversight, reporting and CAFM system updates.
• Provide operational support to Facilities Managers and the Property Compliance Manager.
