Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive service centre in Plymouth for a qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician. You will work on complex vehicle systems, including hybrid and electric models, and join a busy team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Leadership qualities and a willingness to support colleagues.
• Valid UK driver's license.
• At least one year of relevant work experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.
• Industry-recognised diagnostic certification is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults.
• Using advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer-specific equipment for precise repairs.
• Staying updated with the latest industry developments through ongoing training.
• Providing clear explanations and accurate repair estimates to customers.
• Mentoring junior team members and supporting workshop team goals.
• Ensuring all repairs comply with manufacturer standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
