Job summary
Principal People Recruitment seeks an Environmental Advisor to support major infrastructure projects across Thames Valley on a hybrid basis. You will provide practical environmental guidance to site teams and help implement robust environmental policies and management systems.
With a relevant qualification and construction sector experience, you will conduct audits, investigations and drive improvements in environmental performance while engaging stakeholders and subcontractors to meet
Qualifications
- ISEP or equivalent environmental qualification or degree.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure or utilities sectors.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and EMS.
- ISEP Practitioner membership is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical environmental advice to site and operational teams.
- Support implementation of environmental strategies, policies and management systems.
- Conduct site inspections, environmental audits and compliance reviews.
- Investigate environmental incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor environmental performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support subcontractors and supply chain partners in meeting environmental requirements.
