Principal People are recruiting an Environmental Advisor to support major infrastructure projects across the Thames Valley on a hybrid basis. You will provide practical environmental guidance to site and operational teams and help embed best practices across projects.

The role also offers ongoing CPD, progression opportunities and a strong environmental team to support your development within a leading contractor.

Qualifications

• Relevant Environmental Qualification (ISEP or equivalent) or Degree.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or utilities sectors.
• Solid understanding of environmental legislation and EMS.
• Strong communication to engage operational teams.
• ISEP membership or progress towards it is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical environmental advice and guidance to site and operations teams.
• Support implementation of environmental strategies, policies and EMS.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement actions.
• Monitor environmental performance and drive improvements.
• Support subcontractors and supply chain to meet environmental requirements.
• Build relationships with project teams, clients and external stakeholders.
