Job summary

Principal People is helping a leading infrastructure contractor recruit an Environmental Advisor to support projects across the Thames Valley on a hybrid basis.

You will provide practical environmental guidance to site teams, implement strategies, conduct audits and drive continuous improvement while liaising with clients and stakeholders.

This role offers a clear progression path with CPD, a competitive package and a company car or mileage allowance.

Qualifications

• Required environmental qualification (ISEP or equivalent).
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or utilities sector."
• Strong knowledge of legislation and environmental management systems.
• Good communication to engage operational teams.
• ISEP Practitioner membership is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental guidance to site and operations teams.
• Support environmental strategies, policies and systems.
• Conduct site inspections and audits.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Support subcontractors and supply chain on environmental requirements.
• Build relationships with project teams, clients and stakeholders.
