Principal People are recruiting an Environmental Advisor to support major infrastructure projects across the Thames Valley on a hybrid basis. You will provide practical environmental advice to site and operational teams, implement strategies and manage compliance.

You'll work with an experienced team, conduct audits, investigate incidents, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement while engaging with subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with operational teams.
• Solid understanding of environmental legislation, compliance and EMS.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or utilities sector is essential.
• ISEP Practitioner membership is advantageous and encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical environmental advice to site and operational teams across the framework.
• Support implementation of environmental strategies, policies and management systems.
• Conduct site inspections, environmental audits and compliance reviews.
• Investigate environmental incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor environmental performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support subcontractors and supply chain partners in meeting environmental requirements.
• Build effective relationships with project teams, clients and external stakeholders.
