Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Collections Advisor to join the Central Collections team in Keynsham on an initial 3 month contract, with hybrid working and 37.5 hours per week. The role focuses on managing client accounts, resolving balances and agreeing repayment solutions through empathetic, professional communication.

Ideal candidates will have customer service or contact centre experience and be confident handling sensitive conversations in a compliant, process-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or contact centre preferred.
• Confident communicator with professional telephone manner.
• Comfortable with taking accurate case notes and documentation.
• Ability to follow processes and maintain quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts through inbound and outbound calls, emails and written communication.
• Discuss outstanding balances and agree appropriate repayment solutions.
• Manage assigned cases, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case notes, records and documentation.
• Handle sensitive or challenging conversations professionally.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases when required.
• Work within agreed processes while meeting quality and compliance standards.
