Job summary

LGPS Central is seeking an Enterprise Risk and Assurance Analyst in Wolverhampton to support the risk framework, controls, and assurance activities. You will collaborate with senior leaders to monitor risks, design policies, and feed risk reporting to the board.

The role focuses on embedding risk awareness, providing practical guidance, and working across departments to strengthen governance and assurance in a complex asset management environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support the enterprise risk management framework, maintaining risk registers and monitoring controls.
• Assist in designing and embedding risk policies, procedures and assurance frameworks.
• Identify, assess and quantify operational and enterprise risk scenarios, escalating as needed.
• Provide pragmatic risk advice with guidance from the Enterprise Risk Manager.
• Produce risk reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and committees.
• Support assurance frameworks and input for audits and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate across functions to promote a strong risk culture and embed risk decisions.
