Job summary
LGPS Central in Wolverhampton invites an Investment Analyst to join the Passive Investment Team. You will support the Investment Director and Portfolio Managers in monitoring and developing our passive equity and gilt portfolios, with emphasis on performance, risk and responsible investing.
The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a degree in finance or economics, and familiarity with Excel and Bloomberg.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- IMC gained and CFA qualification or relevant investment experience.
- Experience in public markets or asset management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing the strategy and process for passive equity and gilt portfolios.
- Support investments within mandates, benchmarks, regulatory requirements and policies.
- Monitor portfolio performance, tracking error and key risk metrics.
- Assist in integrating Responsible Investment and Stewardship across passive portfolios.
- Support portfolio implementation activities including rebalancing and corporate actions.
- Promote LGPS Central within the investment community and with Partner Funds.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, operations and other teams.
