Job summary

Border to Coast Pensions Partnership in Leeds seeks an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst to develop dashboards and MI, analyse risk data and support risk system enhancements. The role focuses on risk reporting, control assurance and incident oversight in a hybrid working environment.

You will contribute to risk data quality, governance reporting, and depth reviews, collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation and the Chief Risk Officer’s office.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Experience producing high-quality management information and dashboards.
• Understanding of operational risk management frameworks, risk incidents and controls.
• Ability to analyse complex datasets and identify meaningful trends.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies.
• Understanding of risk and control assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint to provide risk, control and incident insights to business functions, Executive Committee and Board audiences.
• Produce accurate and timely management information for governance committees, highlighting trends, emerging risks and remedial actions.
• Act as the technical owner and subject matter expert for the Risk Management System, ensuring optimal functionality and data quality.
• Support with implementation, testing and deployment of risk system enhancements and supplier-driven developments.
• Conduct detailed analysis of risk, control, KRI and incident data to identify trends, emerging risks, process weaknesses and data quality issues.
• Support second-line oversight of incident management processes across the business.
• Support quality assurance reviews of Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), including attestations, control assessments and supporting risk data analysis.
• Challenge the completeness, accuracy and effectiveness of business function RCSAs and associated control environments.
• Track assurance actions through to satisfactory completion.
• Contribute to deep-dive reviews and independent validation activities as agreed by the Chief Risk Officer.
