Job summary

MBDA offers an Engineering Support undergraduate placement for 2027 in the UK. The year-long role provides hands-on experience across design, development and support activities within Customer Support and Services, with 2–3 days on-site and security checks for eligible candidates.

You will interact with Armed Forces and contribute to keeping systems operational, while receiving structured training and potential progression to graduate opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards an Engineering degree.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and the ability to communicate them clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist on design, development, troubleshooting and repair tasks with real impact across the product lifecycle.
• Analyse operational scenarios to ensure systems can be used in the real world, including direct contact with the Armed Forces.
• Develop engineering skills and understand MBDA interactions with customers in a defence context.
• Communicate effectively at all levels within the business and with external customers.
