Job summary

James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. seeks an ER Advisor on a temporary contract with hybrid working, including two days from home. You will handle a mid-volume ER caseload and advise managers on absence, sickness and welfare matters.

The role focuses on providing compliant guidance, supporting return-to-work discussions, and coordinating with Occupational Health and unions to minimise risk. 37 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Experience in a People/HR advisory role supporting managers with ER casework.
• Strong experience managing sickness absence, long-term sickness and welfare cases.
• Up-to-date working knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 20–30 active ER cases focusing on absence management and welfare.
• Provide legally compliant ER advice to managers on absence, sickness and welfare matters.
• Support managers through formal and informal absence processes, sickness reviews and RTW discussions.
• Prepare and review case documentation and letters with accurate records.
• Coordinate with Occupational Health, unions and internal stakeholders to progress cases.
