Job summary

Infleqtion is expanding its embedded DevOps capabilities in the UK, combining software, firmware, and gateware development to accelerate quantum system delivery. The role is hybrid, based at the Kidlington, Oxford office with occasional travel to the National Quantum Computing Centre, Harwell, and work-from-home is allowed up to two days a week.

The successful candidate will deploy and maintain containerised software, manage CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC, and ensure security in production

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software, firmware and gateware.
• Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing and lab infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation.
• Strong collaboration between software and hardware teams.
• Security practices for secure code development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Software Deployment: Manage containers and CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Hardware-in-the-loop configuration: Support both software and hardware teams in lab setups.
• Infrastructure as code: Design and maintain IaC solutions to automate deployments.
• Software security: Define and own security procedures for code deployment.
• System reliability: Plan and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Documentation: Record configurations and processes for ongoing projects.
