Job summary

Infleqtion in the UK is seeking an Embedded DevOps Engineer to build and maintain hybrid CI/CD pipelines for embedded software and hardware systems, enabling rapid, reliable development and productionisation of quantum technologies.

The role spans the Kidlington, Oxford office and the National Quantum Computing Centre, Harwell, with up to two days of remote work per week and travel to sites as needed. You will bridge software, firmware and hardware teams in a lab setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containers.
• Ability to design and implement IaC solutions.
• Ability to define and enforce software security procedures.
• Experience in lab system management and server administration.
• Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop testing and lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage containers and orchestrate CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment, robust testing and traceable updates.
• Support hardware and software teams by configuring multiple networked development systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain IaC solutions and automate deployment processes.
• Define and own software security procedures for software, firmware and gateware.
• Own lab system management and coordinate backups and rapid recovery.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams documenting processes and system configurations.
