Infleqtion UK is seeking an Embedded DevOps engineer to join our expanding team in Kidlington, Oxford, with occasional travel to Harwell. You will develop and maintain robust testing and deployment pipelines for software, firmware and gateware, including hardware-in-the-loop testing and site tooling.

The role blends software and systems engineering, with responsibilities spanning version control standards, IaC, security practices and on-site hardware maintenance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps experience with embedded devices or hardware-enabled systems.
• Strong Linux administration, networking, permissions, services, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, automated testing, and versioned releases with traceability.

Responsibilities

• Software Deployment: Manage containers and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and testing.
• Hardware-in-the-loop configuration: Manage configurations for networked development systems.
• Infrastructure as code: Design and maintain IaC solutions and CI/CD for deployment automation.
• Software security: Define and own secure coding and deployment practices for software, firmware and gateware.
• System-down planning and lab maintenance: Plan backups and ensure high availability of lab systems.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Document processes and configurations with software/hardware teams.
