Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution in Gloucester is hiring two Grade 4 Network Planner to design and manage the electrical network, coordinating with engineers to construct, reinforce, or replace assets. The role requires strong organisation, resilience and the ability to prioritise multiple projects while maintaining excellent customer service.

You'll need English and Maths GCSE at min grade C/4 (or Functional Skills Level 2), a full UK driving licence, and be prepared for hybrid

Qualifications

• English and Maths GCSE at Grade C/Level 4 minimum or Functional Skills Level 2+.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the area.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver new services/alterations/small capital projects.
• Carry out onsite meetings and engage with third-party agreements.
• Financially review and close projects; manage customer expectations.
• Schedule contracted works and communicate with authorities.
