Job summary

SSE is seeking an Electrical CMI Network Designer to join our team in a hybrid role with 50% time in the office/depot. Base locations include West London, Slough, Reading, Theale, Swindon, Melksham and Oxford, with a salary between £50,964 and £60,899 and a range of benefits.

You will work on a portfolio of work within our CMI team, performing site visits, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring safety, feasibility and compliance for delivery of network alterations up to 33kV.

Qualifications

• Experience in design/consents/construction of LV to 33kV networks is advantageous.
• CDM regulations knowledge and NRSWA code experience.
• IOSH or similar health and safety qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out network design tasks for LV to 33kV networks.
• Visit sites and liaise with customers, land agents and authorities.
• Produce design deliverables (drawings, access packages, PCI) using SSEN Design Standards.
• Ensure schemes handed to delivery are CDM compliant and safe.
