Job summary

Victim Support in England is hiring a Domestic Abuse Independent Stalking Advocate & Caseworker (ISAC) to deliver tailored support plans for adults aged 16+ affected by domestic abuse. The role combines home-based and Plymouth office work with travel across Devon & Cornwall for in-person support.

You will cover the helpline, manage a caseload, collaborate with partners, and uphold trauma-informed, empowerment-focused practice. Driving license is essential due to travel needs.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience delivering services within statutory, voluntary or multi-agency settings.
• Ability to balance competing needs and priorities.
• Caseload management across sensitive cases.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime, primarily domestic abuse.
• Provide information and advocacy to help users navigate the criminal justice process.
• Empower service users to make informed future choices.
• Oversee a small team of volunteer supporters.
• Liaise with local providers to share information on VS services.
