Victim Support in Southampton is seeking a dedicated Caseworker for our Domestic Abuse team. The role is office-based with regular travel across Hampshire, focusing on structured support plans for crime victims.

You will contact victims by phone, explain services, and assess impact, then tailor safety and support plans accordingly. You will work in a collaborative team, managing a caseload, conducting risk and needs assessments, and liaising with local partners to deliver a seamless service.

Qualifikationen

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to use IT and Microsoft Office to a high standard is required.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities are needed to manage competing priorities.

Aufgaben

• Manage a caseload of self-referred and referred service users, providing information and advocacy to help navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk and needs assessments to tailor support and information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services and collaborate with partners for ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential case records on the bespoke case management system.
• Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse and provide immediate assistance.
• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for clients.
• Liaise with internal and external organisations to share information on the Victim Support service offer.
• Work as part of a team with staff and volunteers to provide a seamless service.
