Job summary

The Candidate Recruitment Agency client in Manchester is seeking a Dispatch Scheduling Manager to ensure orders reach customers on time, in full, and at the right cost. Office-based planning focuses on scheduling rather than the dispatch floor, using live order visibility and warehouse systems.

You will balance production capacity with deadlines, weigh timing and cost to choose economical shipping, and coordinate with the US warehouse to keep plans aligned.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, planning or resourcing; scheduling skills matter.
• Backgrounds in ecommerce, retail fulfilment, or related scheduling fields welcome.
• Highly organised, detail-focused and able to spot discrepancies.
• Comfortable using data and systems to make decisions.
• Clear communicator who takes ownership and follows through.
• No logistics or international experience needed; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Own the dispatch schedule and keep a clear plan for all stakeholders.
• Plan around production capacity to meet customer deadlines.
• Weigh timings, capacity and cost to find economical shipping options.
• Track live orders through warehouse systems to ensure on-time packing.
• Manage warehouse capacity to avoid bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Transactions, Reporting teams, and US warehouse.
