DPD is seeking an Internal Sales Executive (Direct Sales Executive) to drive new business revenue in a fast-paced environment. You will identify prospects, manage accounts and hit 8-week onboarding targets while building lasting relationships with customers.

This role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) at Smethwick, with a competitive base salary of £29,800 plus commission and wide-ranging benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct sales or similar environment.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage own time to meet targets and deadlines.
• Adapt style to internal and external customers.
• Ability to handle objections with confidence.
• Positive, resilient attitude under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop a personal prospect funnel to fund targets.
• Monitor new customers to ensure they trade to agreed profile and terms.
• Agree and deliver action plans if variances occur.
• Facilitate handover of new accounts within 8 weeks of trade.
• Support with calling potential and existing customers post campaigns.
• Achieve productivity targets and maintain internal systems.
