Job summary

The University of Exeter's Digital Transformation Division is seeking a Digital Capability and Change Manager to support strategic digital, data and AI transformation initiatives across the university. This full-time fixed-term post is available immediately until 31 July 2028, with hybrid working.

This role develops and delivers change management, engagement and staff capability-building activities, promoting trust, transparency and informed participation while collaborating across faculties.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering change management in a complex organisation.
• Knowledge of stakeholder engagement and communications approaches.
• Experience across digital, data, AI or technology-enabled transformation projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyse information, identify risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement, communications and change management activities.
• Coordinate readiness and capability-building across workstreams and groups.
• Facilitate workshops, networks and communities of practice.
• Identify staff capability needs and ensure training aligns with existing digital skills provision.
• Produce reports and materials for governance groups.
• Analyse feedback and data to identify themes and opportunities.
