Job summary

Medinet Group is seeking a hands-on IT support specialist to provide deskside and 1st-line support across our Birmingham sites. You’ll own hardware deployment, onboarding, and frontline ticket triage, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager.

In a hybrid office/remote setting, you’ll maintain device inventories, support Microsoft 365, and resolve common user issues while ensuring NHS data protection and security policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on deskside and 1st line IT support across multi-site healthcare environment.
• Experience with Windows laptops/desktops build, config, and imaging.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 user support and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware request process: build, configure, deploy laptops and devices.
• Maintain hardware inventory and asset register from procurement to disposal.
• Prepare devices for new starters: OS config, app install, account setup.
