Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property in Kingston upon Thames is seeking an experienced Design Manager to oversee design delivery for a major Sewage Treatment Works upgrade. The role combines on-site collaboration with remote coordination to drive safe, constructible design packages.

You will act as technical interface among external water infrastructure, MEICA, and process design consultants, ensuring schedules, approvals, and compliance are met on an active site.

Qualifications

• UK-based water infrastructure or sewage treatment project delivery experience.
• CSCS Card and EUSR National Water Hygiene required or willing to obtain.
• Degree/HND/HNC in relevant engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design delivery across multiple packages for STW/WwTW upgrades.
• Coordinate with MEICA, process design, client stakeholders and site teams.
• Manage DDS, respond to TQs and RFIs to keep on schedule.
• Ensure submissions comply with standards and regulations.
• Provide on-site technical support ~50% of time in Kingston.
