Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Design Manager for a major Sewage Treatment Works upgrade in Kingston upon Thames. The role requires oversight of design delivery, interfacing with external water infrastructure and MEICA teams, and ensuring packages are compliant and constructible on an active site.

You will spend about half your time on-site in Kingston with the remainder remote, coordinating with project stakeholders to meet schedules and approvals.

Qualifications

• Proven Design Manager or Design Coordinator in UK water/wastewater projects.
• Broad knowledge of wastewater process assets and MEICA integration.
• Degree or HND/HNC in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.
• CSCS Card and EUSR Water Hygiene Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to manage 50% on-site work in Kingston.

Responsabilités

• Design Package Management: manage multi-disciplinary design deliverables across project stages.
• Buildability & Value Engineering: review drawings and models to resolve buildability issues and drive VE solutions.
• Progress & Deliverable Management: drive the DDS to align with construction milestones; handle TQs and RFIs.
• Regulatory Compliance & Approvals: ensure submissions meet water authority specs, WIMES, and CDM 2015.
• On-Site Technical Support: spend ~50% on-site interfacing with PMs, site engineers and operations.
