Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Project Leader to manage design‑led water and wastewater projects within a dynamic multi‑disciplinary team in Manchester. The role blends project management, design engineering and client liaison to drive delivery from outline through detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover.

You’ll coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and specialists, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and adherence to framework

Qualifications

• Outline and detailed design experience of water or wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of the Designer or Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015.
• Accredited Degree in Engineering and professional membership (IEng) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of water or wastewater projects from outline to detailed design, through construction and handover.
• Coordinate the project team across civil, electrical, mechanical and process disciplines and BIM models.
• Ensure designs are on programme, within budget and meet specifications and standards.
• Mentor junior colleagues and foster a collaborative, one-team approach with clients.
• Engage with client operations and assurance teams to support project delivery.
