Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Design Lead to deliver water and wastewater design projects across the UK North East. You will provide direction on project controls, quality, programme and cost, and work with multidisciplinary teams to optimise schemes.

We value Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status and a Degree in Engineering, with experience in outline and detailed design. You will support chartership reviews and collaborate across the joint venture with JN Bentley and Mott MacDonald.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering and professional registration (Chartered or Incorporated).
• Experience with outline and detailed design of water or wastewater projects.
• Familiarity with CDM 2015 Designer or Principal Designer duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight of project controls, ensuring quality, programme and cost targets.
• Lead design activities and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support professional chartership reviews and mentor engineers.
